I joined this band Medusa and it was one of my favorite experiences ever. My super-close friend Robby Stoneman kept telling me about a magical, legendary band from Mount Vernon, nestled in the heart of The Skagit Valley in Washington state. They were living in a converted convalescent hospital, which they transformed into a Metaphysical Lodge of Mystics and Musicians.
I went up one summer day with Ava and Barb and didn’t come back for 3 years or so.

Skagit Valley bands included Medusa, Future Pastures, Pegasus, and our pals– Atlantis. History has it that I got
inspired to write my own music and learn how to record cuz of THIS band, MEDUSA. It’s true. During USA’s Bicentennial Year- 1976. I always talk about the debt of gratitude I have for Brian, haveing so much patience with the young me as I struggled to learn his amazing songs.
