Josie Lazo has been a dear, close friend of mine since we were neighbors on Bellevue & Thomas St. in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. We started the church in Ballard with Walter Tear-Bear, and when that place burnt down, Josie and I moved to New York to put our life back together and fulfill our wandering artistic dreams. Now she lives in San Francisco’s Mission District (see, always a preacher!) where she teaches Punk Rock Yoga amongst other things. Her decorating tastes are superb, and she also knows everything about fabulous vegan food.
